Wilner Wellness Massage is owned and operated by Bobbie J. Woods-Wilner.  Bobbie is a Marine wife & daughter, a native of Eastern North Carolina and member of the White Oak Church of God.  Bobbie is a NC licensed massage therapist and has been a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist with the NCBTMB since 2002. NC LMBT#06665, NCTMB# 323893-00

During her years of living in Okinawa and travels throughout the world, Bobbie gained interest in the healing arts, particularly in the cultures that practice wellness for health.  In these cultures massage and aromatherapy have been an integral part of the wellness model.  Massage is frequent, a necessity; herbs are medicine and wellness is life. These are the principles that led Bobbie to herbs, Aromatherapy and subsequently Massage Therapy.

Bobbie attended the prestigious Dahan Institute of Massage Studies while stationed with her husband Adam and daughter Sonya in Las Vegas, NV. She graduated with Honors and later went on to teach both there at the Dahan Institute of Massage Studies as well as at Arizona Western College in Yuma, AZ.  Bobbie’s passion for knowledge and love of massage have spurred her on to study many massage styles and gain a deeper understanding of how aromatherapy improves well being for people and animals of all ages. To this day, Bobbie has studied 29 types of massage and aromatherapy modalities. 

Particularly close to Bobbie’s heart is the time that she spent working with the developmentally disabled.  She was especially touched by the people she worked with and their shared experiences while working as the Habilitation Coordinator for a non-profit organization in Arizona. Bobbie is very grateful to be in a position where she can once again use aromatherapy and massage therapy to make a difference in the lives of the disabled.
